A CLI for DAQ would allow users to take advantage of the Unix tool kit for a rich DAQ experience.

A CLI can also be a reference implementation and a troubleshooting tool.

A data logger CLI has been started as a part of a different project but is a good candidate for a seed of a CLI.

This will likely become a separate issue, but we should consider a binary distribution for the CLI and possibly the rest of the acsys package.
