Tried this with both ly and ly-git. ly takes around 5-10 minutes to load up awesome-wm. I originally though it wasn't working until I left it for a while.

Here is my xinitrc and config.ini:

They are mostly default. Only difference is where .xinitrc is stored. I can provide more logs if needed.
