Ly could be a suitable display manager for distros mostly in Live Environments where the autologin could fit very well.

Is Ly implementing the autologin feature?

Till recently you could add these lines

export $(dbus-launch)
dbus-run-session ${hyprland} > /dev/null 2>&1

to your loginShellInit script and hyprland would start.
But just recently it looks like they added more assertions because it only works with Ly.

So very excited that this is coming to Ly, given that the alternatives have been cut off.

I prefer not having a password for family desktop living room PC to save the extra few precious seconds when playing a movie.
