Add defcustom or hooks to make it possible to add an alist for (2 4 6) and (sSmtwTf) or some other weird syntax for comics that don’t come out every day to override the prev/next function. Or create comics-use-date-mwf? (side effects?) This applies to many comics I read, notably xkcd and Girl Genius.
Jay: “That should be doable now with `comics-fetch-unread-favorites’.”
Jay: “Probably the best way to do that would be to look for today’s comic (“20090820” for example) and the keep searching backward until a comic is found. Something like `comics-buffer-view-previous-comic-skip-misses’, except starting from scratch rather than a specific date.”

Jay: ” The title and date (but not the author) are in the modeline. Putting the author in the modeline and leaving the information out of the buffer would be simple; I don’t know anything about adding the information to the title, but I can’t imagine it’d be too much more difficult.”
Jay: “comics-read-comic’ returns nil if the comic is inaccessible, but I don’t know how helpful that would be.”
The end game of all this effort would be the ability to fetch all your favorite comics and display them in one page in emacs.
