+Last amended January 13, 2021.
There are two types of Rickies: Annual Rickies and Keynote Rickies. The winner of the Annual Rickies is named the Annual Chairman, and retains the rights to the corresponding Twitter account for the full year. This position is awarded every January. The Keynote Rickies winner is named the Keynote Chairman, and retains the rights to the corresponding Twitter account until the next keynote is held.
Annual winners roll over to preserve the order of picks, for example the 2019 annual winner gets to go first for the next annual picks. Order for the Keynote Rickies is based on the previous Apple event. The Loser goes last.
To earn any points, everything written down in the prediction document must come true. No half points may be awarded in any round, and picks cannot be reused. One point is awarded for any pick deemed correct in the first two rounds. Two points will be awarded for correct picks in the Risky Pick round. If your Risky Pick is wrong, you lose a point. The two other hosts must agree that your pick is "risky".
For Keynote Rickies, the scoring window starts when the event begins and closes when the picks are scored. The winner of the regular and Risky picks must be granted access to the Annual or Event Chairman Twitter account, and will retain access until another winner is named.
The loser of the Flexies must compensate the winner of the Flexies by donating to the charity of the winner's choice. The amount of the donation is $25 per wrong Flexy made by the loser. In the case of a tie, the ratio of correct to incorrect Flexies will be taken into account[1]. Each host must make a minimum of 5 Flexy Picks. Flexies may be reused as future Flexies or regular picks. The money, of course, must be donated on air.
Changes
- 328: "Non-graded" removed from the Flexy rules by listener request.
- 327: Clarified the difference between Keynote and Annual Chairmanships.
- 316: Myke notices that the rules do not identify when keynote picks can come true, and proposes that the window open at the start of the event and close at grading. (He also noted this in 311 and proposed the same rule change, but it was never written down.) Stephen prefers starting at the publication of the prediction episode, but Federico breaks the tie in Myke's favor, agreeing that it is a competition about the event. Unlike the Keynote Draft on Upgrade, which only allows information from the presentation itself, ancillary material is allowed. For example, a specifications page that clarifies details may figure into grading as long as it is available at that time.
- 316: Clarified that Flexies may be reused (technically the "no reuse" rule wasn't in the Flexies section anyway, but it was agreed that banning their reuse would be too limiting).
- 312: Donations for the Flexies must be done on the air after Stephen chooses to do so.
- 311: The existing Chairman Twitter accounts are explicitly added to the written rules.
- 311: The Flexy rules are simplified back down to just a donation to charity, dropping the additional gift to the winner.

Notes
[1]: I find this wording a little unclear, but there is enough precedence to explain it differently. The winner of the Flexies is the one with the most correct Flexy picks. If there is a tie, then the next tie breaker is the one with the fewest incorrect Flexy picks. The grading in episode 300, where this rule is established, is probably also the clearest application of it, with Myke's 1 out of 4 beating Federico's 1 out of 7. As stated in that clip, making more Flexy picks gives more chances to be right, making it easier to win based on sheer number of correct picks, but has the risk of a worse ratio in case of a tie (and, now that money is involved, a risk of much more money being owed in case of an outright loss).
In subsequent episodes, our beloved hosts sometimes have trouble remembering the details, and sometimes seem to instead be grading the Flexies entirely based on ratio, which is incorrect, but the results are the same when everyone picks 5-6 Flexies as they have so far.
No host has attempted something like this yet, but this could lead to a contentious scenario if a host attempts a high-risk "shotgun" strategy. A host getting 7 out of 20 will likely have to argue for his victory against another host who got none wrong but only made 6 picks. But based on the precedent set when the rule was written, and the letter of the text in the current rules, that’s the correct outcome. +
