не знаю от кого косяк... но смысл прост:

в модуле/конфигурация прописал (валюта) "BYR"
вызвал

[!Shopkeeper? &cartType=small &hideOn=99 &orderFormPage=99 &noJQuery=0!]

получил "руб." (в шаблоне стоит [+currency+] )
p.s. -- ver 1.3.6RC
