# Details on Grant Work

Describe your idea in greater detail

The plan has been developed with the intent to establish Baseline Protocol as the preferred blockchain for businesses globally. Leveraging industry experts from supporting sponsors, experts, developers, etc will help create the foundations. 

The idea will be to develop a community of Baseline Protocol propagators via roadshows and participation in industry events. The entire rollout of the roadshows and interoperability event will be systematic, with pre, during and post-event engagements. The aim will be to conduct virtual events and then scale up to hybrid events where we can fully engage our target audiences. The engagement loops will be widespread, on multiple platforms and consistent via thought leadership, presentations and other content. Moreover, we will aim to increase engagement on existing channels such as The Baseline Show. The events coupled with amplification models will drive higher perception build for Baseline Protocol to drive higher industry relevance, resonance and recall. 

To further build excitement and create a community connect, bootcamps and hackathons within the roadshow/event will boost the Baseline Protocol’s position and perception. It will be important to ensure each event will add to the community’s engagement and innovation, and market penetration. 

In addition, as part of the events content creation, will build reusable asset designs, templates, presentations, social post designs, etc that can be easily replicable. Also, in the same way, content for the use cases, via video/images to highlight the concept, benefit, applicability to varied industries, etc.

Build high visibility with high impact for Baseline Protocol thereby exciting corporate sponsors to sponsor Baseline Protocol for 2024.

The messaging conveyed through these events will encourage companies to reimagine their business processes, to integrate them for seamless business operations. The events will go a long way to demonstrate live use cases for the industry to learn from each other and collectively grow.  This is especially true and the need for the next new world we are evolving.

What is the motivation and context for this proposed work?

  • To accelerate Baseline Protocol adoption

Blockchain is disrupting the way organisations do business with synchronized systems developed cost effectively. Baseline Protocol has a tremendous opportunity to take a higher ground and position itself as the industry catalyst beyond the currently engaged groups. It must play the part to amplify and accelerate adoption of the technology to empower businesses for economic and societal benefit.


  • The market context

The market opportunity for blockchain and thereby the derived opportunity for Baseline Protocol adoption is huge. As per Gartner, blockchain will generate exponential business value, reaching $176 billion by 2025 and $3.1 trillion by 2030. Elaborate on the value this effort provides to the further development, enhancement, or adoption of the Baseline Protocol

Delivering on this project and the said actions will go a long way in establishing Baseline Protocol perception in the global marketplace by:-

  • Fostering an environment for fast adoption to bring in scale and maturity through
    • Showcasing use cases for businesses to learn, adapt and grow
    • Building a congregation of like-minded groups to work on specific challenges such as interoperability
    • Creating forums for high energy discussions on future forward
  • Shifting perceptions of businesses from unsynchronized & clumsy business processes to revamped & compatible ones via Baseline Protocol by
    • Publicising thought leadership articles to highlight the business benefits - simplify, synchronize and synergize business processes that enables information symmetry, quick decision making, removal of mistakes/disputes/waste, good inventory management, high transparency, etc.
    • Being visible in select global industry forum, media to make a difference for an open source enabling faster knowledge spread and adoption

What are the downsides, execution risks, and/or limitations of this work?

  • Getting relevant and mature use cases for a larger industry maybe a challenge.
  • Will be important to define the number of participants for each event prior to execution.
  • In case the requirement for attendees is too high, then will need to do digital marketing at wide scale
  • The overall strategy planning will be done remotely; no travel has been factored in the proposal
