Details on Grant Work

Contribute hands on expertise in BRI-1, SAP, and other general familiarity to enterprise systems on Baseline in support of the BPI Interoperability demonstration


Motivation and Overview

To support the success of the Baseline Interoperability showcase between BRI-1 and BRI-3 and overall ratification of the standard


Value to the Baseline Protocol

Elaborate on the value this effort provides to the further development, enhancement, or adoption of the Baseline Protocol


Downsides / Execution Risks / Limitations

Will have a paternity leave of absence expected in November/December timeframe of this year


Deliverables / Schedule / Milestones

Artifacts documenting and demonstrating BPI interoperability in the baseline repo. Exact schedule and milestones TBD in coordination with BPI interop team and the 2023 roadmap


Budget and Justification

25,000 (as suggested for each participant in BPI Interop grantees)

Applicant Background

Ryan Fleischmann - Developer Evangelist / SAP Architect @ Provide Technologies

11+ years of experience in SAP ERP-integrated solution delivery across a variety of business processes including supply chain, CRM, manufacturing and finance across diverse industries. Deeply experienced with full stack development in SAP ABAP, JavaScript, .NET and Java development supporting business-critical applications and APIs used in the cloud, mobile, and on-premise. Expert in applying open source and emerging technologies to SAP landscapes. Known expert in the PRVD/BRI-1 technology stack.
