  • Last task for thesis is to connect it to erlang_ls.
  • Questions
    • how to see log?
      • Start with custom command, give —log-dir and —log-level params
  • As starting examples, adding unused macro and unsafe call diagnostics
  • Show and tell screen share and debug how to find the logs
  • Roberto: what is the bigger plan?
    • How will it be deployed? How will it be available for devs?
    • Answer: firstly diagnostics, then refactors. Comms via rpc to refactorerl node at the moment.
      • Add config setting to identify the refactorerl node, erlang_ls just keeps the adaptor.
  • Alan: note: LSP does not allow entering user parameters, only for the single rename command.
    • So either write specific extensions per client
    • Or do the work with synthetic names, and then let the user rename them.
