command+ w --- closes only the current window, not whole application
command+ ~ --- scroll through open windows in an app (i.e. go through all the terminal windows)
command+ > --- toggle show/hide hidden files+folders
command+ delete --- send file to trash
command+ % ---screen record, command+% again to stop
command+ $ + space --- screenshot entire desktop screen
command + o --- open the file
command + up --- move up one folder
