Description

When using the search function in the reference docs, navigating and selecting an item with the keyboard doesn't take you to the selected document, but instead to a search with no results. This is different from what happens when selecting the item with the mouse.

Expected outcome

When selecting an item, I'm taken to that document.

Actual outcome

I'm taken to a search that yields no results and that has a filter for the docs I searched from. This is extra visible if I search from an entry that is in a different section of the documentation:

A search with no results and a wrongly applied filter

Steps to reproduce

These specific seem to generalize pretty well:

  1. Navigate to any section. In this case, we'll use the sites documentation
  2. Write a search term in the search field. For instance, 'mail'
  3. Shift focus to the item and press enter to select it. In this case, select the first item: 'Mail library'
  4. The browser navigates to a search with no results and an applied filter

If you select the item with your mouse, you're taken to the documentation for it. The mail search above takes you to the lib-mail documentation

Other details

Reproduced in Firefox and Chrome on Linux and macOS.
