We have plans to drop support for Emacs 26 with the first release in July 2024.

Note
We can release support for older Emacs from the stable branch if needed, but be aware that it is not provided by MELPA.
According to Debian LTS, Debian 10 “Buster” (it provides Emacs 26.1) is planned to be supported until July 2024 and Debian 11 “Bullseye” (it provides Emacs 27.1) until July 2026.
