Breaking changes

All the main breaking changes will be announced here.

• New config system

Now all the setup process is done in a setup() function. The defaults are:

  glow_path = "", -- filled automatically with your glow bin in $PATH, will be empty if no executable is found
  glow_install_path = "~/.local/bin", -- default path for installing glow binary if not executable is found
  border = "shadow", -- floating window border config
  style = "dark or light", -- filled automatically with your current editor background, you can override using glow json style
  pager = false,
  width = 80,
}

• removed global configs:

  • vim.g.glow_binary_path
  • vim.g.glow_border
  • vim.g.glow_width
  • vim.g.glow_use_pager
  • vim.g.glow_style

• improved installation process

• Neovim 0.7 is now required

• removed :GlowInstall

• :Glow command now has 3 new behaviours:

  • using it without params, will preview the current buffer
  • passing a file as first parameter, will render a markdown file
  • adding a shebang (!) will close the current floating window, if any
