New room list does not remember People/Rooms filters when switching spaces

Steps to reproduce

Click Rooms Only / People Only / Unreads or any other option.
Switch space.
The option is forgotten for that space and is not carried over into the new space.

Outcome

What did you expect?

For it to remember as the design is otherwise totally unusable.

What happened instead?

It forgets.

I should also add the clarification that it also does not remember it for a specific space and thats tbh the more important behavior. The design is totally unusable for me having DMs and rooms in a merged view as its signal to noise ratio goes practically infinite in the noise direction then as half my screen or more becomes useless clutter.

Updated my steps to repro and i can also say the option your hinting at in the image you posted does not exist in my client in a place i can find it.

But what i did find is a way to turn off that experiment that had been flipped to default enabled. Because i sure did not turn that on.

The default changed and the old room list is going away in a release or two, it is there to give deployments time to update documentation, in production builds the UI to revert is not present.

Also that option is NOT what i am even needing. As i explicitly have Space A and B as child spaces of C. And A is a DMs only space that i have DMs added to and B is a rooms only space. under the old GUI in C i saw them as separate views it worked wonders. in this new GUI they are merged into a single list and its well the definition of not usable for me unless i go into People or Rooms mode. But since that is forgotten every single time i click a new space its well useless.

Like i dont find that specific option to be a problem under the old gui but under this GUI i clearly need to disable it manually for every single space to bandaid fix the problematic behavior.

I quite like the fact that Element used to keep them separate just like teams does.
