probably related to #26251 though I don't know if there are multiple parts in the code implementing disambiguation, hence another report

@HarHarLinks Unfortunately I cannot reproduce your issue. Please update your issue with more information. If we don’t hear back from you in a week, we will close the issue as we need to be able to reproduce it before we can fix it.

Is there anything else you do before finding the issue? Do you have a DM or share other rooms with one of the users?

Here's another one from another device of mine, on which the previous example I gave does not occur. Same room.

Element version: 1.11.45
Olm version: 3.2.14
Windows 10
Synapse 1.93.0

The only thing I notice is that the user without the disambiguation (@abuse-management:neko.dev) was at the time of writing the last one to post to said room. Needless to say, I don't share DMs with either of these 3 Mjölnirs. Is there tooling to find out if I share any other rooms with any of them? matrix-wrench does not appear to support that yet. I originally submitted logs hoping that disambiguation was logged somehow. Can you provide a js snippet to do that?

Can reproduce now with „Abuse Management“ and Keyser in the room. Interestingly this only happened once for me after joining the room. One reload later all disambiguations are there.

I would consider this a regression as there was another issue that has already been fixed:: #7341
