Steps to reproduce

I have Element running on Debian.
Frequently I notice that the fans are starting and running for a while, while I am not doing anything heavy on the laptop.
A look at htop reveals Element to be the culprit in most cases, sometimes staying at 30-50% for a long while, while the window is closed and only the icon in the Taskbar is active.

Outcome

Low CPU usage in Background

Operating system

Linux

Application version

Version von Element: 1.11.3 Version von Olm: 3.2.12

How did you install the app?

From Apt

Homeserver

No response

Will you send logs?

I seem to have the same issue. Perhaps not as high as @tzugen, but enough to cause my laptop battery to be eaten up in no time.
