DM metaspace has no DMs in it

Steps to reproduce

Unclear. Steps taken to encounter the issue are below.

1. Be on a not-metaspace
2. Update Nightly to 0.0.1-nightly.2021120701
3. Wait a bit, click around some rooms
4. Click on DM metaspace

Outcome

What did you expect?

My DMs.

What happened instead?

Only a single DM in low priority that I tagged as a DM by hand was there. Everything else was missing.

The notification counts were accurate at least.

It seems you're not the only one to have come across this bug, as it's been reported previously. I'm going to close this issue now so we can focus on the older issue. Please watch, vote or comment on that issue if there is any additional information you can provide.
