It'd be really great if, when I'm looking at the highest octave's highest notes, and I switch to another pattern, that I somehow see that there are notes down below there too. A couple of times I've actually overwritten notes because they're in the C-2 range, and I've been in C-9 range and thought, hey, this pattern is empty :)
