It'd be great when you're switching from instrument#1 to instrument#2 - the playback starts from scratch (silent audio). So that if you have Inst#2 that plays a ton of notes with immense long echo+delay with feedback at max, and you did something to inst#1 (alterations, notes, etc), you return back to inst#2, the massive echo continues - maybe this would help Komposter not crash - some sort of failsafe?
