Submitting form using onchange="this.form.submit()" #69

When I try to submit ajax form using:
onchange="this.form.submit()"

the plugin redirects me to the 'action' page and will not send the form in the background.. to make it clear, try using the following form:

<form method="post" action="page1" class="ajax" data-replace="#submit-status">
<input type="checkbox" name="mycheckbox"  value="1" onchange="this.form.submit()" > some value
</form>
<p id="submit-status"></p>
