Right now it looks like BarChart is missing some information parsed out from matplotlib (please correct me if I'm wrong!)

  1. The orientation of the chart, horizontal or vertical (already known, just needs to be set here)
  2. The grouping of the chart, grouped versus stacked (not sure yet how/where matplotlib exposes this)
