@rauri76 has been contacting other musicians such as Bent and Slow Magic. I believe one of them has already offered to donate tracks to Dropship. Could explain a bit more?

@yulevtov is working in vocals now and might be able to use at least the vocals, if not more.

I'll let you guys discuss what you might be able to provide and use here.

@rauri76 Indeed very interested to hear of any other contributions. Let me know what comes in!

Yuli,

Simon mills (half of the group Bent currently Napoleon) responded and said he'd be willing to give us whatever we need. He lives in London as well and gave me his gmail address.

What would you want from someone like him? Synth patches? Samples? Individual track mix files at various build states 1-4.
How do we start with some meat, add spices and then squeeze it through your sausage machine into intestinally satisfyingly encased wieners ...technically speaking?

Btw, I hope you all are having a marvelous Monday and enjoying this exciting and educational project as much as himself.

Hi Rauri! Sounds like a lot of fun, of course I would! I'll check the blog out, but sure, I'll be up for it - best to drop a line to me at [email protected] and we can chat about what track would suit!

Cheers!

Fantastic news - let’s get some foreign meat into this equation. If he’s based in London I’d be up for meeting up with him in person. Will e-mail him and arrange something.

I'll let him know you'll be getting in touch via sound cloud/mail and gmail.

If you end up meeting with him in London, lunch, dinner whatever is on me.

Thanks for all your incredible work and inspiring attitude.

Just had a good 40 min chat with Simon - positively lovely chap. He’s going to send through some existing materials he’s got like acappellas, and also look into composing something completely custom for the ‘ship.

More as I have it.

Also expect more work on ambient and build-up phases this week.
