OmniSharp server is not running.

when i try .NET: generate assets for Build and Debug. Its saying Unable to generate assets to build and debug. OmniSharp server is not running. anybody dont know why?

@LangerFall If you press ctrl+shift+p to open the VS Code command palette and type "Select Project", do you see your project listed in the dropdown? if you are able to select it, does it open as expected?

Reinstall the dotnet runtime and sdk worked
