This seems unique to sections, and it looks like we're seeing unclosed html tags, and assuming they add a level of indentation, when they may not. eg:

@section Head {

    <meta property="asdf" content="goo">
    <meta property="asdf" content="goo">
    <meta property="asdf" content="goo">

                @if (true)
                {
                }
    }

The @if inside the section is in the wrong spot. If you add more <meta tags, it moves further to the right. If you make the meta tags self-closing (<meta />) then the problem goes away.
