How I can use 'Microsoft.NET.Sdk.IL' SDK?

System.Runtime.CompilerServices.Unsafe package uses 'Microsoft.NET.Sdk.IL', but where I can install it?

You should be able to consume the ILProj SDK by:

1. Adding a reference to the MyGet feed containing the NuGet Package (https://dotnet.myget.org/F/dotnet-core/api/v3/index.json)
2. Adding a global.json to the root of your repository containing the msbuild-sdk info (replacing the version as appropriate):

3. Updating your project to reference the SDK: <Project Sdk="Microsoft.NET.Sdk.IL">

I make steps 1,2,3 my ilproj is

Visual Studio 15.8.9 tells that ' Project file is incomplete. Expected imports are missing.' if project file extension is ilproj. If project file extension is csproj it tried to compile il file as C# file

There is no Visual Studio Project System support for now.

@AlexeiScherbakov Can this issue be closed? Support for this project type in Visual Studio should be filed through the Developer Community portal rather than here. If you are still having issues with the ilproj from the command line, please let us know. Thanks.

I cannot find recent 'Microsoft.NET.Sdk' package on https://dotnet.myget.org/F/dotnet-core/api/v3/index.json but I found it in https://dotnet.myget.org/F/dotnet-cli/api/v3/index.json

I added dotnet-cli feed and changed global.json to

But compilation failed with 'error NU1102'

So I have questions:

1. What .NET Core 3.0 SDK I must have locally installed to compile ilproj?
2. What vesions of "Microsoft.NET.Sdk" & "Microsoft.NET.Sdk.IL" must be referenced in global.json?
3. What nuget package sources must be added to system nuget urls?
4. May be also "magic" option for "dotnet build" is exists?

@AlexeiScherbakov if you're still getting the NU1102 error, I was able to figure it out. The sdk template uses >3.0.0 for the allowed ilasm version, which cannot be picked up because nuget will not pickup prereleases that way. I was able to solve this by adding the following to my PropertyGroup block

<MicrosoftNetCoreIlasmPackageVersion>3.0.0-preview1-27101-02</MicrosoftNetCoreIlasmPackageVersion>

This forces the version, causing it to download and work correctly.

Latest version of Microsoft.NET.Sdk.IL and Microsoft.NETCore.ILAsm are 9 month old and have not been updated to 3.0 RTM in either nuget.org or https://dotnet.myget.org/F/dotnet-core/api/v3/index.json

Will updated version be published there or should some other place be used for it?
