Refreshing should not change margin of the contents

I can generate a contents and move it to the right add more spaces on the left side. But, after HpRefresh command, it moves back.

Example:
Before refreshing:

      *CONTENTS*
         Chapter 1 .......|chapter1|

Expected:

      *CONTENTS*
         Chapter 1 .......|chapter1|

Actual:

*CONTENTS*
   Chapter 1 .......|chapter1|
