On docker hub the layout of a repository is
namespace/image:tag
You cannot create different, the page does not allow and not able to push to an existing repo
with multiple levels neither.

The docker client allows to use multi level in local registry, so does third party registry, like
namespace/foo/bar/baz/image:tag

I guess the layout of docker hub is intentional.
Is the way the client works with local repository/third party repository by design and is it going to stay like that?

Hi,
As of now - we will be supporting the layout namespace/image:tag. We do not have current plans of supporting multiple level repo names.

Any chance to address this issue or we are better off migrating to other repository hosting solutions?

That issue is particularly important because Docker support did not ever reply to namespace cybersquating requests. I know for sure that multiple different reports where made, by different people, and no reply was received at all.

Using Docker support feels like talking to /dev/null
