There are different incipits for Middle English translations of the Body & Soul Debate (Latin Visio Fulberti or Philiberti), so there are different DIMEV numbers: 605 (7 witnesses), 2462 (3 witnesses), 3766 (1 witness, fragmentary, in the same MS as one of the complete witnesses), and 5256 (1 witness).

605, 2462, and 5256 do not refer us to either or both of the other two. 3766 refers us to 2462, one of whose witnesses is the same MS as the sole witness for 3766.

At minimum the problems are (1) duplication of witness; and (2) failure to cross reference.
