OpeniBoot is for actual hardware! You can't install it on the iOS QEMU machine because you need to attach another virtual machine, and you'd have to install OS X on it! Plus, you'd have to add USB libraries for it to work entirely! Plus, NAND space is VERY limited, so there's a slim chance that you can do that, so I wouldn't go on and trying to do this!
Sorry if this disappoints you, I wish we could do the same thing, but it's just not possible yet. :C
Hopefully, one day this can happen! I hope this solves your problem! <3
This is not accurate; Openiboot uses serial communication to access the console. Qemu-iOS supports 2-way serial. Thus it is theoretically possible. I myself have had limited successes at trying to get this to work over the last year or so. The implementation of the platform hardware is not yet perfect, and as such, Openiboot will not get very far into booting. But it is by no means impossible, and with some work it could be made possible.
Need tutorial on how to install openiboot
