Version Characteristics

On CEDAR, we have developed function modules listed as follows:

The new features of Cedar 0.1:

* High Availability of three Cluster Architecture (such as RootServer Election, Automatic Switching of Roles, Log Synchronization and Recovery, etc.) * Libonev:Multi-thread Network I/O Processing Framework * Cursor * Stored Procedure * Secondary Index * Batch Update of Non-primary key * Semi Join

The new features of Cedar 0.2:

* Snapshot Isolation * Table Lock * Bloom-filter Join * Scalable Commit * Optimization of Log Synchronization

The new features of Cedar 0.3:

* Decimal optimization * Auto_increment * Truncate table * Transaction throughput optimization * HashJoin

"CEDAR User Guide" describes how to install, deploy the clusters and how to execute SQL operations. "CEDAR function development manual" introduces the development need, function, design idea, and the application limitation of each module.
