Add a way of injecting buttons that have independent actions to the form

It could be that a field has the value of a YouTube link. When clicking on the button data from the youtube api would be fetched and certain fields would be filled with the gathered data.

I want a developer to be able to add such a button to a form.
I think it might be best if the reaction happens via a CustomEvent
