Since we are using a 4 ch ADC, we can use the AD8618 4 ch low-offset amplifier for the transimpedance amplification.
This way, we end up with one chain per full slit pair (horizontal & vertical)

Keep in mind the sign of the input current: for ions the current will be positive, for electrons negative. For normal controller operation, we therefore expect a positive current which will result in a negative voltage output.
