Should we archive this repository?

With the advent of DataPipe and magic-cta-pipe, this project is basically obsolete.

I do not see any further development since I left my previous position.

Should we archive this repository as read-only?

If it makes sense, should we perhaps first add a banner to the documentation saying that the project is frozen and not expected to continue?

We don't yet have a fully end-to-end DataPipe yet, so maybe let's wait a bit. THough it's true, mostly the functionality of protopipe has been extracted and moved to either ctapipe or elsewhere. Not sure what magic-cta-pipe does, but it's also not quite a replacement.

But yes, adding a banner for now is a good idea.
