This is the first public beta release.

State of the project

ZPT-Sharp is feature complete and has no known functionality bugs at this time. There are a few minor improvements that would be nice to make before releasing the software as stable:

• The documentation website could use some improvement
• Unit test coverage could be improved in a few places
• The project would benefit from an MVC sample project

Developers, please feel free to experiment with ZPT-Sharp. Whilst I still do not recommend using the software in production just yet, I would love to see other projects evaluate it.

v0.7.0-alpha

This alpha release marks the completion of alpha milestone 7, on the way towards a beta release.

The headline news for this version is the introduction of basic support for CSharp and Python expressions, as well as a number of documentation improvements (including the API docs).

Both Debug and Release builds are known to be working correctly on either of Windows or Debian GNU/Linux.

v0.6.1-alpha

Quick bugfix release to fix issues with the documentation website, otherwise identical to v0.6.0.

v0.6.0-alpha

This alpha release marks the completion of milestone 6, on the way towards a stable release. All issues so far which are marked API Change are now resolved, and so the API should be stable enough for some investigation. Of course, this is still an alpha release, so please do not use this yet in a production environment.

The core functionality is now feature complete and functional. Whilst there may be bugs (please report them if you find them). Remaining tasks are mainly either low-priority bug fixes or non-mission-critical improvements (such as plugin functionality).

v0.5.0-alpha

This is a tentative alpha release marking the completion of the v0.5.0 milestone.

v0.4.0-pre-alpha

This is an pre-alpha release marking completion of milestone 4.

v0.3.0-pre-alpha

This is a pre-alpha release marking the completion of milestone 3.

It also represents a complete rewrite of the codebase, replacing everything from all previous releases.

v0.2.1-obsolete

This is an old release before the rewrite which commenced with v0.3.0.

It is preserved only for historical purposes.
