The Ivy course material is currently a collection of notebooks and markdown files held together with an index/overview notebook. It would be a step forward to bind these materials together into a Jupyter Book.

For example, Project Pythia has a Jupyter Book, Pythia Foundations.

I've been experimenting with jb recently. For sustainability, I really want to use the same source (notebooks and markdown files) for teaching on a JupyterHub and for the Jupyter Book. I'll have to do some editing of the source to make this work, though.

I could also make this a one-off experiment and see if people find it useful.

A preview of a few lessons bound into a jb at https://csdms.colorado.edu/ivy.
