Help with external imagePath in android #97

If I store the images into the app's drawable folder it's working perfect, but I cant, by any way, load the images from my external device storage...

I’m trying to load pictures from

/storage/emulated/0/Pictures/images/

but anything is working.
Can somebody help me with this issue?
