This is lower priority than other UI asks, but essentially it would be great to allow organizations to skin their colors a bit.
A default of light gray (pastel colors should ensure proper contrast with dark text) seems like a good place to start. Thanks to @annachiaretta for that suggestion.

I identified the default of light gray (with pastel options) specifically to group labels on resources, the idea being that if you were to make a group label of high priority you could make it yellow or something.
I think this got merged into a bigger Idea of custom color for the larger interface which I think is pretty unnecessary generally, but see how a branding feature could be nice as a someday project.
This is now theoretically possible w/the stylesheet rewrite. When we surface a need for people to brand the experience, I'll add a feature to recompile stylesheets on that basic.
