Personnal advice : Librechat is similar to openwebui but with innate MCP Client interface for MCP servers, no need for strange proxys (work out of th box with homeassistant MCP server)

Install can be done with Docker / npm, however MCP implementation using providers like Smithery.ai is lot easier using npm version.

One other thing: LibreChat provides support for the responses API, while OpenWeb UI doesn't. This means there's no access to models like chat-gpt5-codex.
