8/14 Meeting note with @aj-codecov:

  • @aj-codecov has data from Pendo and noted that we had over 500 unique visitors who spent more than 2 mins on the pull request page.
  • We are unsure about their JTBD on the pull request page. As PRs are not long live for a developer.
  • @aj-codecov will reach out to customers from the unique visitors group to understand their intentions.

Questions we want to answer:

  • What brings them to the Pull page?
  • What are they looking for?
  • What actions do they need to take after obtaining the information?

Please let me know if I miss anything here.

There's not much to sort or filter on the Pulls tab since the designs for that page were updated last quarter, removing the need for sorting and filtering options. cc @aj-codecov @spalmurray-codecov

IMO filtering to see only my PRs would be nice, but ultimately not a huge thing. Most of the time I'm coming to the PR page through the GH PR comment's links anyway.

@spalmurray-codecov interesting thought and sounds simple to do. @aj-codecov what do you think about filtering PRs by author?
