  • dependency management using Windows tools like Chocolatey
  • a few annoying and rather complex bugs in coala/coala on Windows
  • Almost all bears installed into Appveyor and passing the tests.

@impmihai, @userzimmermann , perhaps you would like to be a mentor for this project next year?

Why next year, @jayvdb? Why not starting ASAP? :) Looks like a nice re-entry point into some coala contribution for me! I'll start writing some project description next week...

Great @pydevsg! You should start with taking a look at http://api.coala.io/en/latest/Developers/Newcomers_Guide.html and say a little Hello World in https://gitter.im/coala/coala to officially become part of the coala community :)

There is still sufficient work to be done on Windows to justify a project, but the low hanging fruit is done, so the project definition would need to be quite specific , and detailed, describing what remaining problems would be included in the project. Then it needs to be assessed to determine if it is 'enough' to be a GSoC-sized project.
