GTA VC Definitive Edition CRASHES

when I use Cleo Redux to try out this in game mod/trainer menu it crashes the game instantly as it loads up. I check and it isn't an issue with the trainer since it still happened even after removing/deleting the mod/trainer from the Cleo directory. I had to delete the Cleo Redux files from the GTA VC DE win64 directory to get VC working again.
