Description

For aarch64 platform, I have built " OpenH264 " from source.

Steps

Following STEPS (https://github.com/cisco/openh264#using-make) were used for the building and installation:

sudo apt update

sudo apt install build-essential cmake git wget –y

wget https://github.com/cisco/openh264/archive/refs/tags/v1.0.tar.gz

tar -xvf v1.0.tar.gz

cd openh264-1.0

make ARCH=arm64

Outcome

To validate that the build was successful we Checked the libraries.

After running make command, h264enc and h264dec binaries are installed

A shell script to run the command-line apps is in testbin/CmdLineExample.sh

I have also tested this package by using the command “dpkg -l | grep openh264”

All this information was also added the Software Ecosystem Dashboard for Arm (https://www.arm.com/developer-hub/ecosystem-dashboard/
