Nuvalence Address Book

This project was generated with Angular CLI version 11.2.10.

Getting Started

Start out by cloning this repository into a file path of your chossing. From command line git clone https://github.com/chemscn/nuvalence-address-book.git To run this project you will first have to make sure you have the following:

  1. latest compatible version of nodejs https://nodejs.org/en/.
  2. If you already have node make sure the version is compatible with angular 11.2.x (10.13.x/12.11.x or later minor). For more visit https://gist.github.com/LayZeeDK/c822cc812f75bb07b7c55d07ba2719b3.
  3. To handle your node versioning consider installing node version manager. Afterwards, find a list of your installed versions by running the command nvm list. Once you found the version that is compatible, use nvm use [version number here].
  4. On mac go to the root folder of the angular application in a terminal and run npm install. If you didn't set up your credentials to properly, you might have to use the command sudo npm install. This command will install the node-modules folder required to build the application.

Development server

Run ng serve for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.

Code scaffolding

Run ng generate component component-name to generate a new component. You can also use ng generate directive|pipe|service|class|guard|interface|enum|module.

Build

Run ng build to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/ directory. Use the --prod flag for a production build.

Running unit tests

Run ng test to execute the unit tests via Karma.

Running end-to-end tests

Run ng e2e to execute the end-to-end tests via Protractor.
