Shutdown Cluster When Disk Space Approaches Max #105
Comments
There is a PR that was opened for this here (and is still open): chef-boneyard/opscode-omnibus#297 |
Based on conversation at the server triage meeting, it seems that everyone is okay with this, but it needs testing and disk space needs to be configurable. |
👍 pending amount of remaining disk space becoming a tunable. |
The changes were moved over to: #171 <- closed since the changes were specific to the DRBD cluster. |
It would be helpful to evaluate the need for this change in non DRBD cluster. |
As a customer, I do not want my system to corrupt redis databases and refuse to come up after a DRBD or other disk full situation. I would like the system to notice the disk full situation, warn, and shutdown cleanly. This way, I can clean up and start back up without further incident.
