It should work in theory on that platform. We have seen problems with the Ubuntu kernel and I am not sure if it is fixed in the version you are running. Can you try to figure out if there is an update for the kernel available. Maybe you could try a non Ubuntu distribution on your system. |
It would also help us if you could share the log file mentioned in the error message. |
I was able to create the checkpoint somehow, but now I am unable to restore the checkpoint as I am getting an error. Looks like its a seg fault here is the log I got

Not sure why it segfaults. I just tried it on an aarch64 system with RHEL 9.0 and CRIU 3.15 as shipped with RHEL 9 and Podman and your example works. At least it is not related to aarch64. Try a RHEL9 (or clone) and Podman to see if that works for you as I have seen that it works for me. |
A friendly reminder that this issue had no activity for 30 days. |
docker/cli#3844 is the first issue you faced. The second issue, I cannot comment about. |

I am trying to test CRIU on a cloud VPS (Oracle) and Im not sure why I cant get it to work. I am testing it via the instructions listed on the docker wiki page but im getting this error and im not sure why.
I ran the CRIU check all, and its saying some things arent supported but im not sure what they mean or how I can fix this.
I am using a cloud VM hosted by Oracle. I am running it on their ARM based servers which is believe is made by Ampere?
