Just downloaded the zip file - none of the samples work

None of the samples work - the library paths need to be fixed/updated. Surely if you are going to have samples you are making sure they work?

Just downloaded Chart.js.zip file from the latest release and samples work fine.

dist/Chart.js or
dist/Chart.bundle.js is missing

@MarcusAurelio and @freakrom can you guys please give more details about what Zip archive you try to use? Currently, the only one containing working samples is Chart.js.zip and has everything needed.

just downloaded the git-repo and tried to open the samples

Tags will soon have these dist/* files in sources, but not master or other branches. So downloading the repository is not the way to go if you just want to try samples (use Chart.js.zip instead). If you want to use the repository sources, you need to build first.
