To close this off, I feel it's good to know about other data protection guidance in other jurisdictions, but without a dedicated team of lawyers and data protection specialists, we cannot adhere to every possible case.

My feeling is that as we comply with GDPR, which is the "industry standard" for data protection and that has been proven in courts, we should be in a good position to meet other requirements in other jurisdictions, in good faith.
