Evaluate the patterns that are currently listed on the community pattern page.

Step 1:

• Evaluate community patterns in the community section.
• Identify any patterns that seem too incomplete or domain specific (Group A)
• Identify any patterns that are universal enough be a part of common carbon (Group B).
• Status: Audit complete

Step 2:

• Migrate Group A components back to owning PAL sites (if not already duplicated there) or open issues in target repos for teams to do.
• Migrate high quality community patterns from the community section (Group B) to the top level carbon patterns sections.
  • Content and images should be groomed and updated before the content is merged. This work can be done over several sprint.

Step 3:

• Edit community pattern list to contain only patterns that link out to PAL sites.
• Determine if we making this section an index?

Most patterns need major work (image and content structure work) before the can be moved into the main Carbon pattern area.
