Hi there!

If you pop out the extension (button on the top right), then right click -> inspect -> console, are there any error logs shown?

Hello there,

If you pop out the extension (button on the top right), then right click -> inspect -> console, are there any error logs shown?

Unfortunately there are no entries added to console when logging is not verbose while I am producing this bug. There are errors before extension could index items in vault.

Image

In addition to that, editing entries already in vault is not possible, showing the blank page with save button same as creating a new entry. No new entry to console for that either.

I just set logging to verbose and whenever returning back to main page produces [Violation] 'setTimeout' handler took 50ms warning but I am not sure if that would be helpful.

I am experiencing the same issue.

Firefox on Windows, self built version at https://github.com/bitwarden/clients/tree/browser-v2025.1.1

But not always reproducible.

Seems like making extension sync via modifying vault in another client or just simply force-syncing in the app solves the issue. Keeping this issue open so anyone experiencing this could see "workaround" for this issue

Also experiencing this issue this morning.

Operating System
Windows 11 Pro

Operating System Version
24H2 (OS build 26100.2894)

Web Browser
Microsoft Edge for Business

Browser Version
Version 133.0.3065.19 (Official build) stable app, beta channel (64-bit)

Build Version
Version: 2025.1.1 SDK: 'main (28c7e29)'

The workaround @erdh mentioned seems to fix it for now:

Same issue here but with editing existing entries. Manual sync of the vault did help.

Same issue here. Occurrs when adding an entry via browser extension in Microsoft Edge. Editing appears to work correctly on our end though. Self-hosted environment, Microsoft Edge browser extension version info below:

Version: 2025.1.1

SDK: 'main (28c7e29)'

Server version (self-hosted): 2024.12.1
