notification on calendar update

Hi :)

I'm sharing a calendar with my whole Family, so they could maintain their vacation plans and everyone is aware of the plans, even If they are spontaneous.

However, it's difficult to keep track of the changes. Nobody wants to look everyday into the calendar and check wherher there is an entry in the upcoming weeks.

Would it be possible to show an OS notification, as soon as a calendar change happend?

I would say that's the job of the calendar app. DAVx5 is meant to inform you only in case something goes wrong and otherwise be a silent background app. So while it would be possible, its probably not a feature we'd want for DAVx5 or for the broad mass of users.

Why not use event reminders? Simply add a reminder on the same day you create the event. Some calendar apps also support setting default event reminders when creating new events, so you don't need to remember that every time.
